The Core Leadership Team is a sub-group of the Pastoral Team.

They have been asked by the Elders to provide the overall leadership of the church, and are collectively responsible for carrying this out.

Clusters

We strive to be a community that values our young people from newborns through to those moving into adulthood. We want to journey with them and their families in seeing them become all God wants them to be.
There is heaps going on both on Sunday mornings and through the week for children, youth and their families.

The Care Cluster is a collaborative of people, groups, teams, organisations and ministries that are part of Spreydon Baptist, who all work to support people through life’s journey. Together our role is to ensure that the care and support people are offered, especially in times of need, assists them in their journey towards growth and wholeness. Spreydon’s heartbeat is to be a redemptive community, so we want to offer support that leads to this being lived out. If you want to find out more about what Spreydon provides, the quickest way is to look at the range of supports listed under “community help” on the website or at the list of services under the A-Z. If you have general questions you can email us on pastoralcare@spreydon.org.nz

The Community Cluster is about creating an environment where people are accepted and supported in whatever stage of their faith journey, focusing on four overlapping areas: lifegroups, neighbourhoods, evangelism and discipleship. Encouraging full engagement with God, each other, and the world around us, and finding ways for everyone to discover their place to belong and ‘be’, is our challenge.
