Setting people free from the stresses of debt and inadequate incomes, was the catalyst for the establishment of Kingdom Resources by Spreydon Baptist Church in 1988.  The vision quickly attracted volunteers from the church and then from churches all over Christchurch and North Canterbury.

Today, Kingdom Resources is still a volunteer-rich organisation and helps more than 2600 adults and children each year through services including:

• Budget Advice
• Employment and Career Assistance
• Community Courses for Budgeting
• Community Courses for Employment
• Interest Free Lending (generally for debt consolidation)
