 
Spreydon Youth Community is the youth group for high-school aged people from Year 9 to Year 13.
For young people who are wanting to do regular bible study and meet in a small group, we have quite a few groups called “Green Teams” who meet at various times throughout the week. You can contact Lisa Gardiner directly about joining a Green Team, on 338 2800. Our typical Youth Groups run at several times and places on Thursday and Friday nights. They are schools focused and for young people years 9-11. You’ll find information about these groups further down this page, but if you have any queries at all, please phone the SYC office – don’t delay!!If you are year 12 and 13 and interested in actively and intentionally developing your relationship with Jesus, joining our Senior Group may be the best thing for you. This group is held on Tuesday nights at the Tennent's house, 11 Indira Lane from 7.30-9.30pm. Call SYC Office and ask for Duane or Lisa.
As well as this, there are social events, a touch rugby module, camps, tramps and other awesome stuff! This is all added to by our association with "24-7 Youth Workers in Schools" programme.
However, our most valuable asset is our large leadership team. Each leader is committed to an influential lifestyle of leadership amongst young people, and seeks to be a positive role model to Christians and non-Christians alike.Contact

Tribe: For Year 9-11 young people, Thursday nights, 7:30 – 9:30pm, meeting at Rowley Bible Chapel (Rowley ave) This group is for Big Fun in Smaller Groups – getting to know quality leaders, God Spots, cool times. SYC Office 338 2800 Raewyn http://www.syc.org.nz/groups.html
Kafune: For years 9-11 Thursday nights, 7.30 - 9.30. meeting at 212 Lyttelton street. This Group is for Big fun in smaller groups involving God spots, Cool times and getting to know quality leaders. Call Luke at the SYC Office on 3382800.
Oasis: For Year 9-11 Friday nights, 7:30 – 9:30pm, meeting in the Spreydon Baptist Church Auditorium! Big Fun in Big Groups! Oasis is a great place to have fun while exploring and discovering God, Jesus and faith in everyday life.SYC Office 338 2800 Fergus http://www.syc.org.nz/groups.html
