Welcome to SYC Otautahi

At SYC Otautahi there is a place for you! We have young people from all over the city and lots of the schools in Christchurch. We run three weekly aged based youth groups in the Spreydon area, we run a bunch of Camps and fun stuff in the school holidays, we have an amazing bunch of Leaders who are keen to hang out with young people and have loads of fun together as we learn and grow together in a supportive environment.

Who? Any year 9&10

Where? Spreydon Baptist Church, cnr Lyttelton st and Cobham st

When? Friday nights 6:30pm-8pm

New to yr9 then this group is for you, its high energy heaps of fun with loads of laughs! come along bring ya mates its for every1! We will look at Jesus who is is what he did and sus out what it may be to follow him so dont be afraid to bring your questions along.

The ‘Stuff it' group

Who? yr11&12

Where? 19 Te Pihopa Way, Halswell

When? Tuesday nights 7:00pm-8:30pm

This is more of a ‘hangout’ group less high energy run around games but will still be loads of fun crazy things going on with a focus on exploring who Jesus is and what it means to actively follow him!

T730 continues into 2010 with the same focus as 2009, which was heaps of fun crazy activities and a focus of those around us particularly those in need and looking at what we can do to help them.
