Our Junior area which is located at the front of the Preschool building, caters for 24 children aged approximately 2 1/2 through to approximately 3 1/2 years old. We say approximately as space and individuality of children is taken into consideration when transitioning between areas within the centre.

This area is attractive and well resourced with continuous access to both inside and outside areas to allow children to have a free choice of playing environments. We provide a richly resourced curriculum encouraging children's thinking and learning while they create, imagine and grow in confidence.
Our experienced qualified teachers incorporate Christian values and principles into the daily programme and their relationships with children,families and each other. Children experience both planned and spontaneous activities and events as teachers recognise and respond to individual interests.

8.00am - Limited spaces - Indoor/outdoor activities in the Nursery area

8.30am	Main group starts arriving. Early starters move through to the Junior area. Indoor /Outdoor Activities *
8.30am	Mat time
9.45am	Morning Tea
10.00am	Indoor/Outdoor activities continue. Toileting and nappy changing
11.45am	Karakia and Waiata time
11.50am	Lunch – Farewell morning only children **
12.10pm	Inside/outside activities. Toileting and nappy changing Sleep time for those needing a sleep **
2.00pm	Mat time
2.15pm	Afternoon tea
2.30pm	Inside/outside activities. Clean up. Farewell children
3.30pm	Main group leave. All remaining children join together in the Junior area for a combined time.
